USB Ports, have received communication from our French CGT colleagues in the Gulf of Fos that 19 pallets of ammunition destined for the IDF in Israel are scheduled to leave their port.
We also know that the dockworkers in Marseille mobilised immediately to prevent the shipment of these weapons.
We have therefore organised a garrison at Genoa Port, with the aim of preventing the ZIM ship Contship ERA from docking at the Ethiopian Bridge Gate at 3 p.m. on 6 June.
We reiterate strongly that we do not wish to be complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and we oppose all wars!
We therefore invite everyone to participate in the garrison on 6 June at 3 p.m. at Varco Etiopia in Genoa, and to take part in the general strike on 20 June.
Our solidarity goes out to all those who are mobilising against war, and to all those who are suffering as a result of the wars perpetrated by 'our governments'.
